Orders shipped outside of the U.S. must be paid for in US dollars before shipment. Please write, fax or email for a quote on foreign shipping costs. Our procedure is to fax or e-mail a proforma, which includes shipping charges and the international fee (usually $40), so that you may make arrangements for payment. Keep in mind that we do not keep all catalog items on hand all the time, and can ship only those items that are here when we receive payment. Wire transfer instructions: Please note that a percentage is routinely charged to the shipper by your bank, so you must specify that you wish the entire amount of your bill remitted to us. The routing American banks charge us a $20 fee for transfer of your funds which we pass on to you. but we can ship by Parcel Post if it is more convenient for you. Unless
otherwise specified, shipping, handling, and insurance charges in the
continental U.S. are estimated to be around 5% of the order but are based
on where its being shipped to and the weight of whats being shipped. Large items, such as refrigerators, large mounting structures, batteries or any items too large or heavy to be shipped by UPS will be shipped to you by truck. (our main warehouse's zip is 95560) for an estimate. Shipping cost for orders shipped to Hawaii, Alaska, and out of the continental United States are higher on some items. Call us for a freight quote. All U.S. shipments are insured at no additional charge. Illinois residents, please add 6.25% tax. If we are out of some of the items that you order, part of your order may be shipped at a later date. We will notify you if we expect a long delay. You may cancel the backorder if you do not want to wait. If we must backorder items, we don't charge extra freight costs when we complete your order. We try to ship your order the day after we receive it,
but sometimes we get very busy and it takes us a few days. If we are out
of stock on something that you ordered, we will make an effort to contact
you about the delay. Special order items, such as Sun Frost refrigerators,
trackers and large batteries will take longer to ship. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, simply complete the Return Request form at the bottom of this page. Once your request is received we will issue you an RGA (returned goods authorization) number and provide return shipping instructions. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. When the returned merchandise is received and accepted we will issue credit to the same card you used when you placed your order (less outbound freight, of course). All returns for credit must have an RGA number, be in pristine condition, in original factory carton including all original documentation and accessories included at the time of delivery. Credit for returns not meeting these requirements will be less a 15% restocking fee, sorry.
We ship nearly all orders in recycled boxes with recycled packing material. We collect and recycle Styrofoam peanuts and other packing material from other businesses in our area and we encourage you to try to recycle the packing material we send to you with your order. If your merchandise arrives damaged, notify the carrier immediately and file a claim. All claims for damage must be made at the receiving end. All of our shipments are insured. The carrier will notify us and return the damaged merchandise to us. We keep our prices as low as possible and still offer good service and a good wage for our employees. Sometimes the price of an item will increase for reasons beyond our control. If the price of something your ordered has gone up, we will call or write to you for instructions. If the price has gone down, we will refund the difference. We guarantee all of our merchandise to meet the specifications listed in the catalog. If anything you buy from us fails during its warranty period, contact us or the manufacturer for instructions. Repairs will usually be faster if you deal directly with the manufacturer.
