| The
Trace Engineering Power Module
(PM) system is a “balance of systems” package designed to permit seemless
integration of the many components in an alternative energy installation.
In this way, the PM is similar to the Power Panels on the previous
page. The PM system allows isolation of components, wiring, and safety
circuitry in a lockable cabinet while maintaining access to all breakers.
Cabinets can be connected together in stacks of up to four high. A
stack can be used to house electronics, including inverters, controllers
and breakers, or it can house a combination of electronics and sealed
batteries. If flooded batteries are used, they should be housed in
an adjacent stand-alone cabinet. Order the Trace SW or DR inverter(s)
separately. Both the power module and the inverter can be shipped
to you by UPS and easily assembled on site by one or two people. Trace
Power Modules feature: • Powder coated aluminum cabinets with stainless
steel hardware • Removeable door and top panels for easy field installation
• Louvered door design for maximum ventilation • Feet for permanent
mounting • Water baffles and screening keep insects and rain out •
Waterproof, lockable covers keep circuit breakers secure Interchangeable
modules are stackable up to four modules high. Basic Power Modules
listed below include AC and DC disconnects. |
