fixtures for greater efficiency. The ballast measures 2.5” x
2” x 1.5”, small enough to fit in most light fixtures

12 Volt Dimmer Switch
These 12 volt dimmer switches are mounted on single gang ivory wall plates.
They provide on/off plus full range brightness control for filament-type
lights and resistive heating elements. Efficiency is about 98% at all
settings. UL Listed. Maximum current is 9.5 amps. Connection is via 6’
wire leads. Fits in single gang box.

12 Volt Photoswitch
This is our basic light-controlled switch. It turns lights on at sunset
and off at sunrise and can be used for billboard lighting or other outdoor
lighting applications where the lights will be on all night. The PC20
is environmentally sealed in a plastic enclosure with mounting tabs. Electrical
connections are made to four 8” wire leads coming out of the back of the
unit, two for 12 volt power in and two for connection to the light or
other load that you want to turn on at night. Maximum load current is
20 amps. Current consumption is 3mA in daylight and 90mA when load is
turned on. If you need a light control as well as a PV charge control
and low battery voltage protection, use the Trace C-12 charge control.

DC Motion Sensor to Control AC Lighting
This motion sensor saves energy by keeping the inverter in standby mode
while an AC light is off. It operates on a 9 volt battery that will last
about a year. The motion sensor connects between the light bulb and socket.
When motion is sensed, a relay closes in the light socket. The inverter
senses the load and comes out of standby mode and the AC light comes on.
When the light turns off, the inverter sees no load and can return to
the standby mode.

Trace C-12 Controller
The Trace C-12 controller and is PWM microprocessor-based and ideal for
small village power systems, vacation homes, outdoor area lighting, sign
lighting, and bus shelters. It has a 12 Amp low voltage disconnect and
an automatic lighting control. The lighting control turns the light on
at dusk, then has an adjustable duration timer for 2 to 8 hours of run
time, or can be set to run all night. If the battery gets low, lights
are turned off. User adjustable LVD set points. UL listed.

SunLight Charge/Lighting Control
SunLight has all of the features of the SunSaver control. It has a rotary
switch that allows it to turn on the loads after dusk for 2, 4, 5, 8,
or 10 hours. It also has the option to turn loads on at dusk, off and
on again before dawn. In this configuration, you can choose the following
settings (in hours): 3/off/1, 4/off/2, or 6/off/2. On from dusk to dawn
is possible also. A test button turns light on for 5 minutes. 5-year warranty.

Portable
Restroom Lighting Systems
This self-contained, self-charging lighting system mounts on the roof
of portable restrooms and utility trailers. One version automatically
turns on at night and off in the morning. Another version has a pushbutton
switch that turns on the light for 3 minutes. The ABS enclosure mounts
on the roof and three yellow, high-brightness LEDs shine through a
hole drilled in the ceiling. The LEDs have a 10 year life. The ni-cad
battery pack can easily be replaced and will last two to three years. |

Medium
Base 12 and 24 Volt Incandescent Bulbs
These low cost bulbs are the least efficient of all lamps that we
sell, but they are still over 30% more efficient than 120 volt lamps.
Medium base light bulbs fit into standard sockets found in most 110
VAC fixtures, allowing you to retrofit locally available light fixtures
made for 120 volt power. AC sockets rated for up to 300 watts at 110
VAC can usually handle up to 50 watts at 12 VDC. Use 600 watt rated
sockets for 75 watt and 100 watt 12 volt bulbs. 300 watt rated sockets
are good for 100 watts at 24 volts. |

Halogen
Medium Base Bulbs
These lamps are actually miniature halogen bulbs with full size frosted
globes over them and medium bases. This protects the halogen bulb
and allows it to fit standard light fixtures. They may not fit some
fixtures that are narrow near the base. Bulb life is approximately
2000 hours. Halogen bulbs give off approximately 30% more light than
regular incandescent bulbs. |

Wedge Base Bulbs
Halogen bulbs have approximately 30 percent more light output per
watt than standard incandescent bulbs, but they seem twice as bright
because they are not as yellow. Use where good color rendition is
important. It initially costs more to buy one of these lamps and an
adapter, but the adapter can be reused when the bulb burns out. They
have a wedge base and must be used with the halogen wedge base adapter.

These are the most efficient type of incandescent (non-fluorescent)
lighting. A tungsten-halogen bulb with a multifaceted dichroic reflector
provides sharp, clean light and excellent color rendition. These bulbs
have a 2 pin base and will fit a medium base socket when used with
the MR-16 adapter. The lamps without glass covers have an exposed
halogen bulb and should not be used where they could be splashed with

Volt Brass Marine Fixture
This type of light is found on many small boats. It has a solid brass
housing with a 4½" diameter frosted glass cover. A switch selects
a 20 watt clear bulb or 10 watt red light. The red light is actually
a clear bulb with an easily removable red cover, so the light can

attractive. Anodized aluminum housings and clear acrylic diffuser

Volt 22 Watt Circline Bulb and Ballast
This is a 22 watt circline fluorescent tube hanging on a ballast with
a medium base. It uses 22 watts but produces the light of a 75 watt
bulb. It is an excellent energy-saving replacement for incandescent
bulbs in ceiling fixtures or other fixtures that have a lot of room.
