SW-PV1 Series Utility-Tie Inverters
Trace sinewave utility-tie inverters are for grid-tied
systems without batteries. These inverters feature built
in islanding protection with automatic fault condition
reset for loss of grid, over/under voltage, and over/under
frequency, back-lit LCD display provides status, input
and output voltages, AC currents and status, Maximum
Power Point Tracking (MPPT) software which automatically
tracks solar array's maximum power operating voltage,
and automatic morning wake-up and evening shutdown (less
than 1 watt draw at night). The SW utility-tie inverters
are designed to operate with sets of three 12 VDC photovoltaic
(PV) solar modules in series (108 to120 PV cells in
series). The DC operating range between 34 to 75 VDC
(peak power point tracking range of 44 to 64 VDC). Comes
with conduit box (SWCB) with DC input filter capacitor
mounted inside. ETL listed to UL standard. Dimensions
are 15” x 28.5” x 9”. 2 year warranty. |

UT Inverter Systems
The Trace utility-tie inverter systems come installed
in an outdoor enclosure (SWODE) that allows mounting
of the inverter on an exterior wall as required by many
utility project specifications. They include all the
features of the SW utility-tie inverters above. The
cabinet includes ventilation louvers with internal baffles
and provisions for additional cooling fan for high ambient
environments. A lift off cover makes installation easy.
AC & DC circuit breakers allow disconnection of
all AC & DC power for servicing. Includes DC input
filter capacitor and outdoor lockable covers for AC
output and DC input wiring. Optional Ground Fault Protection
shuts down the system if a ground fault occurs in the
PV array wiring system. Dimensions: 11.5” x 28” x 30”.
